Contemporary childrens' art accessory.
Frog Legs and Ponytails pattern by Mindy Leone.
Simple instructions and lovely color photos. This little tote makes a unique birthday or holiday gift. Holds 8 crayons and up to a 6”x8” pad of paper. Plus an extra pocket for stickers or notes. Personalize it with an embroidery machine or machine appliqué. Perfect for keeping in the car – my kids use theirs on every car ride. Take it to the restaurant so your kids don’t have to use those questionable restaurant crayons (who knows what is lurking on those!). Bring it to Grandma’s house, camping, outdoors – kids love these!
Fabric A (pink paisley shown): ¼ yard
Fabric B (polka dot shown): 1/3 yard
Fabric C (stripe shown): 3/8 yard
Cotton batting, fusible fleece, or felt: 10”x15” piece
One package medium rick rack, one button, one thin hair elastic
Thread, scissors, iron, ironing board, ruler/straight edge, measuring tape, sewing needle, pins,
rotary cutting blade and mat (optional)
Not for small children as crayons can break and be choking hazards. Although I do not see any warning
on this particular box of crayons, I would recommend ages 3+ to be safe.
