SIZES: Girls 9 months, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8
This is an easy-to-make classic sundress pattern - low on effort but with loads of style. It includes a pattern for a sweet flower embellishment (hair tie, brooch or clip) to add extra pizazz.
The sundress has a rounded neckline with shaped ties which are cut from the same piece of fabric as the bodice. There are two tiers below the bodice. The sundress closes at the back with buttons (snaps or hooks and eyes could also be used).
The professionally designed PDF pattern includes an easy to tutorial and full sized color coded pattern pieces for the bodice front, bodice back, bodice linings, ties and flower embellishment. The middle and lower tier skirt pieces are made from rectangles of fabric for which full cutting instructions are given.
The sundress looks great in flowery prints but is also looks stylish made up in linen, denim or light cord and worn over tee-shirts for the cooler months. Another option is to use ribbon or lace trim between the tiers to add interest.
Suitable for beginners and quick to make. You won't be able to stop at one!
