Use up your fabric scraps to make these cute little lavender-filled bags.

These sachets hang on coat-hangers or sit in drawers to keep clothes smelling sweet.

They can also be made as pincushions or scaled up (and filled with rice, dried beans or wheat) to make door stops.

Scraps of fabric for the – body of the bag: 2 pieces, 11cm x 15cm (4 1⁄4” x 6”) strap: 21cm x 5cm (8 1⁄4” x 2”) flap: 8cm x 8cm (3 1/8” x 3 1/8”)
A small button or bead 20cm (8”) narrow braid, ric-rac or bias binding
A small handful of fleecy stuffing (e.g. Hobbyfill, wool fleece or cotton wool)
50-100g (1 3⁄4 – 3 1⁄2 oz) lavender flowers
2.5cm x 9.5cm (1” x 3 3⁄4”) template plastic
Matching threads
Quilt basting spray or fusible web
