Difficulty = ADVANCED - This pattern is PERFECT if you are looking for something a little more challenging and just that little bit different! It is time consuming to make though, so I do NOT recommended this pattern if you are looking for a quick project!

The pdf pattern for the Abigail handbag/purse has a full requirements list with suggestions on where to obtain your hardware, 54 pages of instructions which include 108 step by step colour photos. There are 2 photos of the finished bag, printing instructions and test squares to check scale. 25 Pattern pieces are included as are measurements for both Metric and Imperial!

PLUS a TEXT ONLY version of the instructions (13 pages) comes bundled with your pattern for printing purposes, should you not need or wish to print all of the photos! Simply refer to your electronic versions for photos if needed! Saves on ink!

ALL my patterns have measurements for both Metric and Imperial and seam allowances are included too!

FEATURES:
The Abigail handbag/purse features all the pockets you need to keep you organised. Featuring 2 cute little front pockets, and 2 side pockets, all closing securely with magnetic snaps. In addition, there are two, large outer slip pockets, on either side of the bag. The roomy main zippered compartment also boasts a secure interior zipper pocket, PLUS two slip pockets, but wait, there's more, there's also a pen pocket! The lovely metal rings, rivets and the use of bag feet, give the bag a professional look.

MATERIALS LIST: (Note yardage is meant as a guide and may not be exact)
•Exterior Fabric: Quilting weight - 110 cm (43") of 112cm (40") wide fabric
•Lining Fabric: Quilting weight - 100cm (40") of 112cm (40") wide fabric.
•Sew-in Interfacing - Mid Weight - 30cm (12") (Optional - You can use all Fusible if you prefer! I just like the look of sew-in for my bags body exterior!) I used Shapeform K4200
•Fusible Interfacing: Light-mid weight - 140cm (50") of 112cm (40") wide interfacing. (Suitable choices would be Pellon Shape-Flex SF101, Therm O Web Heat & Bond Soft Fusible Woven, Vilene #G700 however please allow extra yardage for narrower width)
•Fusible Fleece - 50cm (20"). Mid weight - I used Pellon TP971F Thermolam Plus
•Matching Thread. (I use Gutermann Polyester)
•Peltex Piece 8.2cm X 28.5cm (3 2/8" X 11¼")
•1 X 41cm (16") zipper for zipper closure. (Or longer to be cut down during construction)
•1X 20cm (8") zipper to match your lining for the inside pocket. (Or longer to be cut down during construction)
•4X 14mm (9/16") Regular Magnetic Snaps .
•2 X 18mm (¾") Regular Magnetic Snaps.
•4 X 3.8cm (1½") Diameter Metal Rings for the Straps.
•4X 10mm (?") Bag feet. (Optional)
•16 X 6mm (¼") rivets (Optional) for the Straps & Front Strap Tabs.
•1X Zipper Pull (Optional)
•2 X 39.3cm (15½") Lengths of 12mm (½") Boning. (Optional)

The pattern comes ready to print out on standard A4 paper OR you can also print on Letter or Foolscape simply by checkling the "Disable shrink to fit" or similar in your printers settings. Printing Instructions are included.
